I've been told of his purple heart and how he was a quartermaster on the ship to Vietnam, but never have I seen a picture or anything my dad had concerning the military except his military funeral...I believe he was on the cover of a magazine from Vietnam wearing a necklace with ears on it and standing over a stream.
